Dispute Mate

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and protected when you use the Dispute Mate mobile application.

Last updated: 8 July 2026

Important disclaimer: This app helps you prepare an appeal draft based on the information you provide. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee cancellation, refund or success.

1. About this app

Dispute Mate helps users prepare complaint, appeal and refund letter drafts, organise evidence, track deadlines and export case packs.

The app may be used for everyday disputes such as parking appeals, penalty notices, refund refusals, poor service complaints, order issues and similar complaint or appeal situations.

Dispute Mate does not submit appeals automatically. Users are responsible for checking the facts, deadlines, submission route and final wording before sending any letter, complaint or appeal.

2. Information you provide

You may choose to enter case information into the app. This may include:

This information is used to create your draft letter, checklist, reminders, case readiness score and PDF case pack.

3. Local storage and saved cases

Saved cases are stored locally on your device using app storage. This allows you to return to a case later, edit it or export it.

Saved case data is not uploaded to our own server. You can delete saved cases inside the app. You can also remove local app data by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app.

4. Camera, images and OCR

The app may request camera or image access so you can scan or import notices, receipts, letters or documents. Optical character recognition (OCR) may be used to extract text from those images and help fill in case details.

Images and extracted text are used for app functionality. They are not uploaded to our own server by Dispute Mate.

5. Sharing and exporting

Dispute Mate may allow you to copy, share, print or export letters and PDF case packs. If you choose to share or export content, the selected information may be passed to another app or service chosen by you, such as email, messaging, cloud storage, printing or document apps.

You are responsible for checking what information you share and who you send it to.

6. Notifications and reminders

The app may use local notifications to remind you about case deadlines. Reminder information is stored locally on your device.

You can disable notifications in your device settings.

7. Advertising

Dispute Mate uses Google AdMob to show ads, including banner, interstitial and rewarded ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as advertising identifiers, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, diagnostics and other technical data.

This information may be used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security and service improvement. Advertising data is handled according to Google’s policies and privacy practices.

You can learn more from Google: Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising technologies.

8. Rewarded ads and optional paid features

The app may include rewarded ads, such as a temporary ad-free or focus mode reward. Rewarded ads are optional and require user interaction before they are shown.

Dispute Mate may also offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions in the future. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

If in-app purchases are enabled, Google Play handles payment processing, receipts and purchase account information according to Google Play’s terms and privacy practices.

9. Third-party services

Dispute Mate may use third-party services and SDKs to provide app functionality, advertising, diagnostics or platform services.

Third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

10. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the app. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information and should check any document before sharing or exporting it.

11. Data deletion

You can delete saved cases inside the app where this feature is available. You can also clear app data or uninstall the app to remove locally stored information from your device.

If you contact us about privacy or deletion requests, please include enough information for us to understand your request. We may not be able to access or delete data that is stored only locally on your device.

12. Children

Dispute Mate is not intended for children. It is designed for adults who need help preparing complaint, appeal or refund drafts.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes, when features are added or when legal, platform or advertising requirements change.

The latest version will be available from the privacy policy URL shown on Google Play.
