This Privacy Policy explains how UltraIPTV, published by Robert (Elektor18), and the UltraIPTV Provider Portal handle information when you use the app or portal.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

2. Information handled by the UltraIPTV app

UltraIPTV does not require users to provide a name, email address, phone number or precise GPS location in order to use the media-player features.

The app may process information necessary to provide its features, including:

Most viewing preferences, favourites, history and similar app data are stored locally on the device unless the user intentionally uses a feature that transfers or shares them, such as a backup, export, Device Sync package or provider-based feature.

3. Internet streams, playlists and external providers

UltraIPTV is a media player. It does not host, sell or retransmit the TV, video or radio streams that users choose to play.

When the app connects to a user-supplied IPTV playlist, EPG service, Xtream/provider service, media stream, logo/image server or other external source, the destination service may receive information normally transmitted during an internet connection, such as the device's public IP address, request headers, requested URL/path and technical connection information.

The privacy and retention practices of those external services are controlled by their respective operators, not by UltraIPTV.

4. Public IPTV directories

UltraIPTV may offer optional access to community-maintained public IPTV directories, including data from iptv-org hosted through GitHub infrastructure.

When this feature is used, the app may contact those third-party services to download public playlist/directory data, station/channel metadata, logos or related information. Standard network information such as the user's public IP address and request headers may be visible to those services.

UltraIPTV does not operate or control those community directories and does not guarantee the availability, legality, accuracy or continued operation of entries in them.

5. Radio Browser and internet radio

UltraIPTV can optionally access the community-maintained Radio Browser directory to discover internet radio stations.

When Radio Browser features are used, the app may send requests to Radio Browser API servers containing search, country, language, genre/tag, sorting and other directory filter parameters; the Radio Browser station identifier (UUID) for a selected station; an UltraIPTV app/version User-Agent; and standard network information that accompanies an internet request, including the user's public IP address and connection/request headers.

When a Radio Browser station starts playing, UltraIPTV may call Radio Browser's public station click-count endpoint. Radio Browser states that calls for the same station from the same IP address are counted at most once per day for that station.

The app may use the device's locale country code to choose a default country filter for radio discovery. UltraIPTV does not request precise GPS location for this feature. If a country filter is used, that country code may be included in the Radio Browser API request.

The audio stream itself is normally delivered directly from the selected radio station or its streaming provider, not from UltraIPTV. That station/provider can therefore receive the network information required to serve the stream, including the user's public IP address and request headers. Station artwork or metadata may also be loaded from third-party servers.

UltraIPTV does not control Radio Browser or individual radio stations and is not responsible for their privacy, retention or content practices.

6. Advertising and consent

The free version of UltraIPTV may display advertising using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and mediation partners configured through AdMob. Depending on the user's region, consent choices and ad configuration, advertising services may process information such as advertising or other device identifiers, IP address and coarse location inferred by advertising providers where applicable, device/app information, ad impressions/clicks/interactions and diagnostics used for advertising, fraud prevention and measurement.

UltraIPTV uses Google's consent/privacy mechanisms where required. Advertising providers process data under their own privacy policies and platform requirements.

7. Purchases and PRO entitlement

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. UltraIPTV does not receive or store the user's full payment-card details. The app may receive and process purchase tokens, product identifiers, purchase state and entitlement information needed to activate or restore PRO features and prevent abuse.

Google handles payment information according to Google's own privacy policies.

8. YouTube, websites and other external content

Some optional app features may open or embed content supplied by external services such as YouTube, web pages, public webcams or other third-party websites. If the user chooses to use such a feature, the third-party service may receive standard network/device information and may process data according to its own privacy policy.

9. Provider Portal

The UltraIPTV Provider Portal may process limited information required to operate provider accounts and customer/device management features. This may include provider email address; Google account email address and account identifier if Google Sign-In is used; provider business/display name; customer names or references entered by the provider; device IDs and pairing codes; playlist/EPG profile details; access status and validity dates; and sign-in session information, security information and audit-log entries.

This information is used to provide authentication, provider dashboard access, customer/device management, playlist assignment, access-expiry control, support and service security.

10. Data sharing

UltraIPTV does not sell personal information.

Information may be transmitted to third parties only as needed for features the user chooses to use or for app operation, including user-selected IPTV, EPG, media and radio-stream providers; Radio Browser; GitHub/iptv-org infrastructure; Google Play and Google Mobile Ads/advertising mediation providers; YouTube or other external services; and UltraIPTV service/provider infrastructure where applicable.

A user can also intentionally export or share files, playlists, backups, recordings or Device Sync packages. In those cases, the destination is selected or initiated by the user.

11. Data storage, retention and deletion

Locally stored app data such as settings, favourites, history, cached metadata and recording information is generally retained on the device until the user removes it, clears the app's data or uninstalls the app. Recordings and exported files remain in the location selected by the user until the user deletes them.

Where UltraIPTV controls Provider Portal or service-side information, it is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, maintain security, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

To request deletion of Provider Portal account information or other personal information controlled by UltraIPTV, contact sztanderarobert@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request before deleting data. Data controlled independently by third-party providers must be managed with those providers.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information under our control. UltraIPTV service/API traffic uses secure transport where supported and appropriate.

User-selected media sources may use either HTTPS or unencrypted HTTP depending on the source supplied by the user or third party. UltraIPTV cannot upgrade or guarantee the security of an external stream/provider that does not support secure transport.

13. Children's privacy

UltraIPTV does not knowingly request names, email addresses, phone numbers or precise location from children through the normal media-player features. Where advertising is shown, advertising and consent behaviour is configured to comply with applicable Google Play and advertising requirements for the declared audience and region.

The Provider Portal is intended for business/provider use and is not intended for children.

14. External services

Third-party services have their own privacy policies and terms. Their practices may change independently of UltraIPTV. Users should review the privacy information of services they choose to access.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when features, providers, legal requirements or data practices change. The current version will show a revised Last updated date.
